My beautiful child,
With your eyes flashing wild.
Your feet flying over the ground,
That you race all around.
Smile your brightest,
Laugh your lightest.

My beautiful not quite child,
With your heart so accepting,
And your soul so giving.
Your love so limitless,
Your hope so boundless.

My beautiful wants to be a child again,
With your spirit dimmed,
Your fire extinguished.
Your love that has been shot down,
And your hope that has been crushed.

My beautiful human being,
Know that you are more than you seem.
